Veronika’s Why
As a qualified primary school teacher with experience from kindergarten to year 10, I’ve witnessed how challenging it is for young people to navigate today’s world. I have completed multiple yoga teacher trainings and understand the incredible ways that yoga can have a profound impact on health and wellbeing. That’s why I’m so passionate about bringing yoga and mindfulness to children in a way that’s fun, engaging, and empowering.
Anxiety, overwhelm, and self-doubt are more present than ever, and resilience isn’t what it used to be. Kids are facing big emotions, busy schedules, and high expectations—often without the tools to manage it all. Through movement, breath, and moments of stillness, kids can build confidence, develop emotional resilience, and find a sense of calm within themselves. The lifelong tools of yoga and mindfulness have had a profound impact on my own wellbeing, and I truly believe they can empower children to navigate not just the classroom, but every aspect of their lives with greater ease and confidence
I believe that supporting our teachers is just as important as supporting our children. Educators give so much, often at the expense of their own wellbeing. But when teachers feel balanced, energised, and valued, their students thrive too. At the heart of it all, I want to help children and educators reconnect with themselves, find joy in the present moment, and step into their brightest, most brilliant selves.
